We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and self-motivated Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and functionality of the property while ensuring a positive experience for our guests. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently during the evening shift.
Schedule
- Part-Time
- Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (including weekends and holidays as needed)
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms and public areas
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to:
- HVAC systems
- Plumbing (leaks, clogs, fixtures)
- Electrical systems (lighting, outlets, minor repairs)
- Appliances and equipment
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and equipment
- Maintain grounds and exterior areas as needed
- Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Assist with room turns and ensure rooms are guest-ready when needed
- Previous maintenance experience required (hotel or similar environment preferred)
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repair work
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, climbing ladders)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience in hospitality or property maintenance
- Strong customer service skills when interacting with guests
