Join our team at Pawsitive Pals, Mountain Home's only full-service dog care establishment providing doggy daycare, boarding, training, and grooming! We are currently seeking a dedicated Dog Daycare Attendant with open availability primarily weekends and holidays 15-24 hours per week, to provide exceptional care and support to our furry guests.
**Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and monitor dogs in a group play environment to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Engage in play activities with the dogs, providing mental stimulation and exercise.
- Maintain a clean and organized facility, including cleaning up after dogs and sanitizing play areas.
-Ensure access to fresh water at all times.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and well-being.
- Follow company protocols for handling emergencies or behavioral issues.
**Skills:**
- Experience in animal handling and restraint.
- Knowledge of pet sitting or veterinary technician practices.
- Ability to perform tasks such as basic pet grooming and dog handling.
- Comfortable with heavy lifting when necessary.
- Passion for animal care and well-being.
- Previous experience in a kennel or similar environment is advantageous.
