Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each dog's breed, size, and individual needs
- Handle dogs with care and confidence, ensuring their safety through proper animal restraint techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitation of tools and workspaces
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide advice on pet care and maintenance
- Monitor dogs during grooming for signs of distress or health issues, escalating concerns as needed
- Assist with pet handling tasks such as dog training or basic veterinary support when necessary
- Support team efforts by participating in kennel cleaning, pet sitting, or other animal care duties as assigned
Requirements
