Duties
- Perform comprehensive grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling to meet breed standards and owner preferences
- Handle dogs safely using animal restraint techniques to ensure both pet and groomer safety during grooming procedures
- Provide pet coat styling tailored to each dog’s breed and individual needs, ensuring a neat and attractive appearance
- Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other hygiene maintenance tasks with precision and care
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming preferences, special needs, and aftercare instructions
- Assist with pet handling during grooming sessions, demonstrating gentle yet confident animal handling skills
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools and work area to uphold hygiene standards and ensure a safe environment for animals and staff
Qualifications
