What are the responsibilities and job description for the Computer & Mobile Device Repair Technician position at Pawleys IT?
We are a well-established computer repair and IT services company that has proudly served the Pawleys Island area for over 10 years. We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Computer & Mobile Device Repair Technician to join our growing team.
Experience with Windows PC repair is required, and Mac experience is a plus. Applicants should also have a working knowledge of iOS and Android operating systems, as well as multiple email platforms such as Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, and Microsoft 365. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing desktop and laptop computers, malware removal, hardware replacement, software installation, data transfers, networking, printer support, and providing friendly, professional customer service.
Starting pay is $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience. We are also expanding into cell phone repair. Previous phone repair experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person who has strong technical aptitude and a desire to learn. As our phone repair business grows, employees will have the opportunity to earn commission on completed phone repairs, creating additional earning potential beyond their hourly wage.
