Mid-level Provider
Pawhuska Family Medical Clinic is seeking a highly skilled APRN / CNP to provide direct patient care.
- Evaluate patients by conducting focused or extensive medical history and physical exams, forming plans of testing and/or treatment, and implementing those plans.
- Prescribe and administer vaccinations to protect patients from communicable diseases.
- Advise patients on healthy habits, hygiene, and disease prevention methods.
- Analyze test reports and findings to diagnose patient conditions.
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary for their well-being.
- Maintain malpractice insurance coverage either privately or through Pawhuska Hospital Inc.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Chief of Staff or Administrator.
Position Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A Master's Degree in a Healthcare-related field.
- Three (3) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications upon hire, and ATLS Audits.
- Demonstrated initiative, teamwork, and professional judgment.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in emergency rooms.
- Ability to operate complex equipment.
- Clinical competence in caring for patients across various age groups.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Licensure/Certification
Current, unrestricted licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Oklahoma.
BLS, PALS, and ACLS required upon hire certifications, and the minimum ATLS Audits.
Language Skills
Primary language: English.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and data analysis.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding, solve problems, and draw conclusions.
