**Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) / Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP)**
We are seeking a highly skilled APRN/CNP to provide direct patient care at the Pawhuska Family Medical Clinic.
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical exams, to develop effective plans of testing and treatment.
- Prescribe and administer vaccinations to protect patients from communicable diseases.
- Advise patients on healthy lifestyle choices, such as diet and hygiene, to prevent disease.
- Analyze test results and diagnose patient conditions accurately.
- Consult with medical specialists when necessary to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain malpractice insurance coverage through private means or Pawhuska Hospital Inc.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Chief of Staff or Administrator.
**Position Requirements**
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in a healthcare-related field
- Three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required upon hire; minimum ATLS audits
- Demonstrated initiative, teamwork, and professional judgment
- Able to operate complex equipment and maintain current knowledge in caring for pediatric through geriatric patients
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
**Education and Experience**
Preferred qualifications include two years of hospital experience, with emergency room experience required. Current, unrestricted licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Oklahoma is also required.
