We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Pet Bather / Grooming Assistant who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a busy, hands-on environment.
Position Overview:
This job is active and physical — you’ll be bathing, drying, brushing, cleaning, and moving all day. You’ll get wet, covered in fur, and deal with every part of the grooming process (including the dirty jobs). Keeping the salon clean and dogs comfortable is a big part of what we do. If you like working with animals, staying busy, and being part of a smooth-running team, this job is for you.
Responsibilities:
- Bathe, dry, and brush dogs of all sizes and coat types
Clean ears, trim nails, and express anal glands as needed.
Keep the bathing and grooming areas clean and organized throughout the day
Disinfect tubs, tables, and tools regularly
Sweep, mop, and restock supplies as needed
Assist groomers with handling dogs and prepping for haircuts
Watch for signs of stress, irritation, or health concerns and report them promptly

- A genuine love for animals and patience for nervous or fearful dogs
- Strong work ethic and ability to stay on task without constant supervision
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to clean as you go
- Safe handling skills for dogs of all sizes
- Positive attitude and good communication
- Not suitable for individuals with pet allergies
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Previous experience in grooming, bathing, or animal care
- Knowledge of dog breeds and coat types
