• You earned a bachelor's in accounting or a numbers-based field within roughly the last three years.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼

• Support day-to-day accounting across the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing.

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for month-end close.

• Work with customers and vendors on billing, collections, and invoices.

• Pitch in on a new accounting-systems rollout and process improvements.

• Wear a few hats. It is a small team, which is exactly why you will grow fast.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱

• Solid Excel, comfortable with lookups and pivot tables.

• Hands-on with any modern accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Intacct, SAP, Workday, Acumatica, or similar).

• A bachelor's in accounting or a numbers-based field (finance, math, economics, or business), earned in roughly the last three years.

• A confident communicator who is not shy about picking up the phone.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀

• Hybrid in the Gaithersburg, MD area. On-site about three days a week, because a lot of the learning happens in person with the team, with the flexibility to work from home at least two days a week.

• Full-time, with a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k) with match, and paid time off).

• Target base salary of $65,000 to $85,000, depending on experience.
