A century-old, privately held industrial manufacturer, one of the largest in its space in the Americas, with 1,000 employees across roughly 10 US sites, is hiring its first true benefits and rewards owner. The benefits leader who built this function over the last decade is being promoted internally. You step in to own benefits end to end, then expand into owning and building the compensation function that has never had a single owner. This is a benefits leadership seat with a clear path into full Total Rewards ownership.

โข Open enrollment end to end across all US locations, including plant visits in the fall
โข Health, dental, vision, 401(k) and retirement, wellness, and leave administration
โข Broker and vendor relationships
โข ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and FMLA compliance
โข The person employees trust with their benefits questions, from the plant floor to corporate

The salary structure already exists but has never had a dedicated owner. Today comp work is spread across HR leadership. You consolidate it. If you are strong in benefits and analytical, they will back you to learn and own the comp side: job architecture, market pricing, merit and incentive cycles. You do not need to arrive a comp expert. You need the analytical horsepower and the appetite to build.

โข Hybrid: work from home Mondays and Fridays, in office Tuesday through Thursday
โข About 20% travel, a weekly day trip to the largest plant (about an hour each way) and heavier travel in October and November for open enrollment
โข Hands-on and action-oriented first, with two direct reports and growing scope over time
โข You report directly to the VP of Human Resources

โข 8 to 10 years of dedicated benefits experience (the core of the role)
โข You have personally owned open enrollment, not just supported it

โข Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
โข Experience with ADP or a comparable HRIS
