Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client, an established precision aerospace component manufacturer located in the San Gabriel Valley area of Los Angeles County. This company has been in business for over 60 years, supplying flight-critical components to major aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and defense customers. They hold AS9100D and NADCAP certifications and operate a high-mix, low-volume machining environment. The company was recently acquired by a national aerospace platform group and is in a growth phase with increasing investment in their operations and people.

You'll lead the inside sales team, reporting directly to the General Manager. Your team includes an Inside Sales Rep, a Customer Service Rep, and Estimators. This is a player-coach role where you own the full sales cycle from quoting through contract review and order acceptance, while also driving revenue growth and managing key accounts across domestic and international aerospace customers. You'll collaborate closely with operations, quality, and accounting to keep production aligned with customer commitments, and you'll work alongside an outside sales team and corporate leadership on strategic growth initiatives.

โข Manage and develop the inside sales team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
โข Drive revenue growth across aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, distributors, and MRO customers
โข Own the quotation and contract review process, including government solicitations and commercial RFQs
โข Conduct detailed analysis of purchase order terms, quality clauses, flow-down requirements, and regulatory compliance before accepting orders
โข Manage risk assessment at the quotation and contract level, working with the management team on capacity, lead times, and promise dates
โข Track and report on sales KPIs weekly, including bookings, book-to-bill, win/loss rates, OTD, gross margin, and customer rejections
โข Maintain high levels of customer interaction through phone conferences, in-person visits, and industry events
โข Ensure ITAR compliance and maintain US Export Control Compliance certification
โข Authorize and manage product returns, customer complaints, and root cause corrective actions in coordination with the quality department
โข Participate in production meetings and contribute to recovery plans when jobs fall behind schedule
โข Support AS9100D and NADCAP audits as they relate to customer service and sales functions

๐ฅ๐ฒ๐พ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฑ:
โข 5 years of aerospace sales management experience (this is non-negotiable)
โข Direct experience with government contract portals and defense procurement processes
โข Strong understanding of AS9100D, NADCAP, and aerospace quality requirements
โข Experience with ITAR/export compliance
โข Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a small sales team
โข Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
โข Bachelor's degree in a related field
