What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Paulucci Building?
Are you energetic and dependable? Want to work in beautiful Canal Park? Paulucci Building complex is looking for a Maintenance Worker to take care of our building and carry out general cleaning, maintenance and security duties. The ideal candidate will have experience, technical knowledge and must posses manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Flexible Hours: Monday - Friday, start times vary from 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM.
Responsibilities
- Do garden/yard upkeep, snow removal, collecting trash etc.
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Perform fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
- Report to a maintenance manager for issues
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a Maintenance Worker
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
- Ability to handle equipment and machinery
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity and ability to work independently
Skills
- Must have a positive attitude
- Work well independently and have strong time management skills
- Collaborate with other maintenance workers as needed
- Handle the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking for most of the shift, bending and lifting at least 50 pounds
- Some experience preferred, but not necessary
