Responsibilities
- Execute & Manage construction crews & ongoing projects, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities accurately.
- Coordinate construction schedules to meet deadlines.
- Oversee safety compliance by enforcing OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations across all site activities.
- Review construction drawings and schematics for accuracy, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specified standards and client expectations.
- Utilize construction management software app Buildertrend for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with project managers to coordinate construction schedules, resolve issues swiftly, and keep projects on track.
- Supervise the interpretation of technical drawings and schematics for accurate implementation on-site.
- Manage team performance through effective communication, training, and supervision of crew members.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently across multiple project sites.
- Perform building material installation including framing, drywall, flooring, tile laying, roofing, stucco, masonry work and more.
- Install windows, doors, cabinets, glass panels, and perform trim carpentry as part of remodeling or restoration projects.
- Execute concrete forming, finishing, and masonry tasks with precision; handle caulking, plastering, and fabrication work as needed.
- Support electrical and plumbing installations by interpreting schematics and adhering to safety standards on outdoor or indoor sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols during outdoor work or indoor construction activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Foreman with a strong background in construction building skills, knowledge & leadership .
- Extensive knowledge of construction management practices, safety regulations (OSHA), and federal construction standards.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and schematics accurately.
- Strong supervisory skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective management of crews, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical work or other specialized equipment as needed.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards related to construction site safety management; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Construction site experience with a focus on quality control, schedule coordination, and safety compliance is essential.
- Proven experience in building construction with a strong background in carpentry, roofing, masonry, or related trades.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation.
- Ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding project requirements related to remodeling or restoration efforts.
