We are seeking upbeat and pleasant individuals to support adults with special needs in developing employment skills and succeeding on the job. This position includes both job development and on-site job coaching.
Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with disabilities in discovering their vocational interests
- Assist with resume writing, job searching, interviewing, and job site training
- Provide on-site coaching and skill-building during employment
- Collaborate with the individual's support team and community partners
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to company policy
- Travel locally to job sites in the Westmoreland County / Greensburg area
- Work flexible hours – weekday AM/PM and some weekends
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle available for daily use
- Must be able to pass PA State Police Criminal History Clearance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in job coaching preferred
- Experience working with individuals with IDD preferred
