We have an opening for an Associate Director, Digital Marketing.

The Associate Director, Digital Marketing has oversight of the firm's digital marketing strategy, including as relates to the website, intranet, CRM and social media channels. This position manages the U.S. Digital Marketing team and works collaboratively with the broader BDEV and Marketing teams, lawyers and other administrative departments to develop and implement strategies designed to support the strategic growth and business objectives of the firm.

In this capacity, the Associate Director, Digital Marketing will:

  • Oversee and help to evolve the firm's marketing technology stack including websites, CRM, EMS, direct marketing technology, and social assets, among others as required;
  • Partner with the CMO, Director of Revenue Operations and the IT team to enhance the Firm's digital marketing roadmap and guide the development, launch and enhancement of these features across sites & apps;
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital and social strategies, translating business objectives into digital platform enhancements and content initiatives;
  • Manage digital marketing team members across multiple verticals, including managing the team's recruitment, training and professional development needs;
  • Lead the digital marketing team in the development of branding and firm identity initiatives, including a large-scale website rebrand and rebuild;
  • Partner with Content colleagues and other BDEV colleagues to produce high-quality content for websites and social media, implementing search engine best practices, and crafting & enforcing content governance policies;
  • Collaborate with CMO, Director of Revenue Operations and other Digital Team members on the roll-out of a new Firm CRM system;
  • Oversee work with third-party, external agencies and partners to align marketing efforts and maximize reach;
  • Work closely with regional teams in the direction and management of the global marketing technology stack;
  • Direct on-page, off-page and technical SEO programming to optimize data content, improve keyword rankings and drive sustainable traffic to websites from search engines, such as Google;
  • Oversee the Firm's intranet;
  • Create and manage a budget for marketing operations expenses; evaluate expenditures and maximize effectiveness and efficiency of programs;
  • Partner with the CMO on BDEV contributions to the firm's centralized experience management system, Foundation;
  • Stay updated on emerging digital trends and technologies, identifying opportunities for growth and experimentation;
  • Oversee the generation of department reports on digital trends;
  • Ensure general compliance with the firm's policies, practices, and procedures; and
  • Lead or contribute to other projects, as needed.

Proficiencies:

  • Knowledge of technologies, developments, trends and literature related to legal and professional services marketing fields;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, document management, and CRM systems;
  • Experience partnering with Engineering or UX/UI Design teams;
  • Experience building or delivering against technical product roadmaps;
  • Experience with Sitecore and Intapp (preferred);
  • Proficient with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tools;
  • Proficient with Web Analytics tools; Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics preferred;
  • Customer-focused, analytical and process-oriented; comfortable making data-driven decisions, with thirst for continuous improvement;
  • Expert proficiency in oral and written communications with strong editing, proofreading, grammar and research skills, along with the ability to turn data into useful deliverables;
  • Solid understanding of the needs and expectations of law firm operations and corporate legal clients in order to function at a strategic level;
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing principles, procedures, concepts and practical applications;
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking and relationship management;
  • Proficiency in team building, management, and leadership skills; and
  • Knowledge of the needs and expectations of law firm operations, partners, and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (required);
  • At least 12 years of marketing professional experience; and
  • At least 5 years of management experience in a corporate law firm setting or relevant industry setting is a plus.

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $200,000 and a maximum of $254,000 annually. The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
