Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, proofread, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, correspondence, and filings
- Assist with court filings (including e-filing) and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines
- Maintain and update case calendars, deadlines, and docket information
- Organize and manage electronic and physical case files
- Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, courts, and third parties
- Schedule meetings, depositions, and other case-related events
- Support billing, time entry, and general administrative needs as required
- 2 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant, legal assistant, or similar role preferred (litigation experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Experience with e-filing systems and court procedures is a plus
