Job Title: Mitigation Project Manager
Location: Lindon, Utah
As a Mitigation Project Manager, you’ll be on the front lines when disaster strikes - leading teams to respond quickly and restore order for our residential and commercial clients. You’ll oversee mitigation crews, direct on-site operations, and ensure properties are properly stabilized and restored after events such as fire, water, or storm damage. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication, as you’ll coordinate multiple teams while keeping customers informed and supported throughout the entire process. Your ability to bring clarity and confidence during high-stress situations is key to delivering an exceptional client experience.
What does a Mitigation Project Manager with Paul Davis do?
- Lead mitigation projects from initial response through completion, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality results
- Drive accountability to Paul Davis standards, processes, and all regulatory requirements
- Own project performance, including scope, timelines, documentation, and overall job flow
- Review and validate mitigation estimates for accuracy and cost control
- Support key operational goals, including revenue, gross margin, and customer (Brand) experience
- Collaborate with Technicians, Project Coordinators, and leadership to ensure alignment and execution
- Build strong relationships with vendors and trade partners to improve performance
- Adhere to all program and TPA guidelines
- Contribute to a team-oriented culture and step in where needed
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond with urgency when needed
Position Qualifications
- 2 years of mitigation or restoration experience preferred
- Working knowledge of water, fire, and mold mitigation practices and procedures
- IICRC certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated team player with a positive, solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and manage multiple projects effectively
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and apply operational procedures
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 5–40 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. with assistance as needed
- Ability to work in environments with moderate to loud noise levels
- Ability to stand, walk, or remain in a stationary position for extended periods
