- Proficiency with estimating or project management software, basic math skills for measurements and calculations, and comfort using mobile devices and digital tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with property owners, insurance representatives, and internal teams with empathy and professionalism.
- Detail-oriented approach to site inspections, documentation, and report writing, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to work on-site in various residential and commercial environments.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift moderately heavy items as needed during property inspections, following safety procedures.
- Prior experience in insurance restoration, property claims, or field estimating is preferred but not required; industry certifications (e.g., IICRC) are a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or education in construction, engineering, or a related discipline is beneficial.
