About the Opportunity
Our client is a highly regarded executive search and advisory firm with a top-ranked interim practice. They are expanding their business development team and are looking for experienced Directors who can sell high-value interim and consulting solutions into the Office of the CFO.
This is an opportunity for an established business development professional to join a well-capitalized, growing platform with significant upside, rather than simply taking on another sales role.
The Role
As a Director, you will be responsible for developing new business and expanding relationships with senior finance executives, including:
- CFOs
- Private Equity Operating Partners
- Private Equity Portfolio Companies
- Controllers
- Chief Accounting Officers
- FP&A Leaders
- Finance Transformation Leaders
- Other C-suite executives
You will leverage your existing network while developing new relationships and identifying opportunities for interim executives, finance professionals, and advisory solutions.

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- A proven track record of selling professional services, executive search, interim management, consulting, or related solutions
- Existing relationships with CFOs and senior finance executives
- Experience selling into Fortune 500, middle-market, or private equity-backed organizations
- A demonstrated history of generating new business
- Strong executive-level communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to operate as a consultative seller rather than a transactional salesperson
- A strong understanding of the Office of the CFO and the challenges facing modern finance organizations
