This is a future succession opportunity for the right candidate.Tax Accountant Responsibilities & DutiesPrepare and file individual, corporate, partnership, and Trust tax returnsConduct research and analyze tax laws and regulations to provide clients with accurate tax planning adviceIdentify tax savings opportunities for clients and provide recommendations for reducing tax liabilitiesCommunicate with clients to gather necessary information and respond to inquiries regarding their tax returnsReview tax returns prepared by junior staff and provide guidance and training as neededStay current on changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance with local and federal tax lawsOther duties as assignedTax Accountant Qualifications & SkillsActive Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
