What You'll Do
- Deliver prompt, high-quality service to personal lines clients, assisting with insurance products such as home, auto, umbrella, watercraft and similar coverages.
- Build relationships by helping clients protect the things they love and supporting our community.
- Process new business, estimate premiums, complete applications and binders, rewrite policies, and provide underwriting info to carriers.
- Respond to client requests for quotes, account reviews, coverage changes, and new policies — by phone, video, email, and in person.
- Handle incoming requests from clients, carriers, and third parties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Cross-sell policies and actively recommend coverage enhancements at every appropriate service contact.
- Comply with agency procedures and use office technology.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients to understand their insurance needs.
- Provide expert advice on insurance products and risk management strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Negotiate policy terms and pricing with clients and underwriters.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes affecting commercial insurance.
- Prepare detailed analysis and reports for clients and management.
- Represent the agency at community events to enhance our local presence.
What We’re Looking For
- 1-2 years of insurance service experience preferred.
- P&C license preferred.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and a strong communicator.
