Patton Insurance Group, LLC is seeking a Licensed P&C Insurance Agent to join our growing independent insurance agency.
This position is ideal for an insurance professional who enjoys working directly with clients, building relationships, reviewing coverage needs, and helping individuals and families protect what matters most.
The P&C Insurance Agent will work with both new and existing clients, quote and service personal insurance accounts, review coverage, and help grow our personal lines book of business.
Responsibilities
- Quote and write new personal lines insurance business
- Work with prospective clients to identify coverage needs
- Review existing policies and recommend appropriate coverage updates
- Market accounts to multiple insurance carriers
- Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients
- Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, and general coverage questions
- Follow up with leads and new business opportunities
- Help identify opportunities for additional coverage
- Maintain accurate and complete client records in the agency management system
- Communicate with insurance carriers and underwriters regarding new and existing accounts
- Assist clients with Home, Auto, Umbrella, Recreational Vehicle, Rental Property, and other personal insurance products
- Provide professional, responsive, and friendly service to agency clients
- Help build long-term relationships with clients through regular policy reviews and follow-up
Qualifications
- Current Property & Casualty Insurance License required
- Personal lines insurance experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable discussing insurance coverage and making recommendations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Sales and relationship-building mindset
- Basic computer and agency management system experience preferred
