KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for providing the overall sign cost for each type of sign.
- Prepares estimates from provided drawings, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying drawings, blueprints, specifications, and related documents; Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
- Construct estimate, in digital estimating forms, all labor, all material components and component pricing.
- Communicate with the applicable departments to meet required deadlines for customer quotes
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Sign Industry background is preferred
- Manufacturing experience is preferred
- General construction background helpful
- Understanding of sheet metal fabrication, electrical assembly, sign service and sign installation is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints helpful
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- At least 3 years of estimating experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Proposal experience with knowledge of cost estimating and RFP process
- Internal candidates who have demonstrated at least 3 years relevant skills and performance may be considered without meeting the 3-year estimating and proposal experience requirement.
- Proficient with Windows 10, Microsoft Outlook and Excel a must
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent math skills
- Excellent organizational skills
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- Regular work weeks are 5 days, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
- Frequently assigned changing priorities
