Job Overview:
As a Patti’s Line Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of food and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. You will work as part of a team to ensure that meals are prepared and served on time and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and dicing
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and stoves
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures when handling food
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Follow all food handling and storage guidelines
- Assist with menu planning and development as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Hourly pay for this position will vary depending on experience and qualifications.
