Responsibilities:
Recipe Preparation:
- Follow Patti's recipes to measure and mix ingredients accurately.
- Weigh and sift flour, sugar, and other baking ingredients.
Dough Preparation:
- Prepare and knead dough for various baked goods.
- Monitor processes for yeast-based products.
Baking:
- Operate baking equipment, such as ovens, mixers, and proofing cabinets.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure proper cooking.
- Adjust oven temperatures and cooking times as needed.
Pastry and Cake Production:
- Create and decorate pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
- Utilize piping bags, molds, and other tools for pastry decoration.
Quality Control:
- Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications.
- Address any issues with product quality or appearance.
Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.
- Communicate with suppliers to order necessary ingredients.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Keep baking areas clean and organized.
