Patterson Mold and Tool, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Polishing and Deburring Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the finishing process of our products, ensuring all parts are prepared for their final application. An ideal applicant generally has artistic skills and has an aptitude for fine work and detail with their hands such as an autobody technician or an artist. A candidate should have strong manual dexterity and is committed to finish high quality components that meet or exceed industry standards for industrial, military and commercial products.

Responsibilities
· Perform polishing, deburring, grinding, and finishing on a variety of metal parts using both manual and automated equipment.
· Utilize a range of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as files, scrapers, grinders, buffers, and vibratory finishers.
· Work with precision and extreme attention to detail, ensuring all surfaces are smooth, free of imperfections and compliant with engineering specifications.
· Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine finishing requirements and part specifications.
· Conduct thorough visual and metric inspections of finished parts using precision measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
· Collaborate with the quality assurance team to meet and maintain high-quality standards.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all company policies
and safety protocols.
· Assist with other production-related duties and processes as needed to meet manufacturing goals.
Qualifications
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· Experience in metal finishing, polishing, deburring, or a related fine detail work role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
· Strong manual dexterity, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a keen eye for detail.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
· Knowledge of and experience with various polishing and deburring tools and equipment.
· Have basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping of production.
· A strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, sit, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
· Capable of lifting and moving parts up to 50 pounds.
· Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for intricate handwork.
This is a full-time day shift position working Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. with opportunities for career growth within the company.
