CNC Lathe Operator/Programmer

General Description of Position

The CNC Lathe Machinist/Programmer role is to set up and operate 2 axis CNC lathes on night shift.

Essential Duties:

1. Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of operating and setting up a CNC lathe in a toolroom setting.

2. Capable of complex set ups

3. Low quantity but high accuracy

4. Capable of conversational programming

5. Mazatrol or Master Cam experience a plus

6. Proficient in reading blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances

7. Proficient understanding and usage of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc

8.Basic understanding of G and M code

9.Read and understand work instructions associated the job

10.Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

11.Participate in safety training

Patterson Mold and Tool services the die cast, injection molding, and aerospace industry from small repairs and engineering changes to large complex die builds. We have a clean, climate controlled, and well lighted shop
