Role: Maintenance Technician III
Location: Alexandria, VA
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production and manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery and related equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical components including starters, fuses, contacts, relays, and frequency drives/VFDs.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic components.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform root-cause/breakdown analysis.
- Repair, adjust, and maintain production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Read and apply equipment manuals, technical documentation, and manufacturer instructions.
- Perform equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance issues before failures occur.
- Work independently with limited supervision while following established safety and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to appropriate team members.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and plant operations.
