Azure Technologist / Senior .NET Azure Engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Technologist to join a fast-growing development team in a Microsoft-centric environment. This is a hands-on, senior-level individual contributor role designed for someone who thrives on variety and cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in C#/.NET and Azure, along with the ability to move fluidly between software development, cloud architecture, data platform work, and emerging AI solutions. This role also serves as a technical liaison—helping translate between development teams, business stakeholders, and enterprise systems such as ERP platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a senior technical contributor within a C#/.NET development environment, remaining hands-on with code
- Design, build, and support solutions across the Azure ecosystem, including application services, data platforms, and infrastructure
- Develop and maintain Azure-based functional applications
- Build and support data solutions using Azure Fabric, Azure Data Lake, and related data products
- Design and implement AI-powered solutions, including chatbots and intelligent agents for both internal users and external customers
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, ERP teams, and other technology groups to define and deliver solutions
- Serve as a technical lead and advocate for the development team in meetings and cross-functional discussions
- Contribute architectural guidance and technical decision-making while remaining execution-oriented
- Participate in troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement across systems and workflows
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong professional experience with C# and .NET
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including:
- Azure Functions and/or functional application development
- Azure Fabric
- Azure Data Lake and data products
- Experience implementing AI solutions, including:
- Chatbots
- Complex AI agents for internal and customer-facing use cases
- Ability to work across multiple technical domains rather than specializing narrowly in one area
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to influence technical direction without direct people management responsibilities
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience across a wide range of applications, industries, or technical environments
- Backgrounds supporting e‑commerce, restaurants, logistics, or supply chain–heavy organizations
- ERP experience, particularly Microsoft Dynamics
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated leadership through technical mentorship, solution ownership, or cross-team collaboration
