Service Team Greeter/Porter - Patriot Subaru

Patriot Subaru in Saco needs a Greeter/Porter to help us keep our service drive lanes moving efficiently and our car lot in general organized. Great opportunity for an outgoing, friendly soul who is organized and mindful of their responsibility.

This is a full-time job, and it is not a desk job. You’ll be “The Conductor”, aka, the traffic cop, getting cars through our drive-in, and into the service bays. You’ll be in and out of cars, driving, so let’s get this up front: You need a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to drive a manual stick when necessary.

It also means you’ll be interacting with customers, and setting the tone for their experience. We need your friendly smile and welcoming personality to greet each person on arrival and departure. We’re glad they came to us for service, and that’s exactly what your words and actions communicate.

You’ll be inside/outside in all kinds of weather, so embrace all that Maine has to offer. You’ll be on your feet and on-the-go, you’ll get your steps in every day! Here’s a short rundown of the basic responsibilities.

• Assisting advisors with parking cars once they are checked in
• Ensure cars receive the tread check efficiently
• Keep traffic flowing in the service drive
• Pulling cars forward in both directions
• Remove seat covers and hang tags on departure
• Cross train to cover Express Advisors for the lunch hour, which can lead to an opportunity to advancement
• Help move cars on the lot during down time
• Help our team clean snow off cars and move them for our plow team
