Architectural Design & Planning:

•             Develop and maintain secure network architectures for data center and cloud connectivity, including VPNs, direct connects, and other secure tunneling technologies.

•             Design and implement security controls for hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring consistent security posture across all platforms.

•             Evaluate and recommend security technologies and solutions for network security, cloud security, and data protection.

•             Create and maintain detailed architectural diagrams, documentation, and security policies.

•             Participate in the development of security standards and best practices for data center and cloud connectivity.

  Implementation & Deployment:

•             Lead the implementation of security solutions for network connectivity, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPN gateways.

•             Collaborate with network engineering and cloud operations teams to ensure seamless and secure integration of security solutions.

•             Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams during the deployment and configuration of security controls.

•             Conduct security assessments and penetration testing of network infrastructure and cloud environments.

•             Security Monitoring & Incident Response:

•             Design and implement security monitoring and logging solutions for network traffic and cloud activity.

•             Analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential security incidents and vulnerabilities.

•             Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents.

•             Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures for data center and cloud connectivity.

 

•             Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.

•             Knowledge of security automation and orchestration tools.

•             Experience with DevSecOps practices.

•             Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture.

 

•             Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

•             Minimum of 8 years of experience in network security and cloud security architecture.

•             Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and cloud computing concepts.

•             Extensive experience with designing and implementing secure network architectures for data center and cloud connectivity.

•             Proficiency in security technologies, such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

•             Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and their respective security services.

•             Knowledge of security standards and regulations, such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 27001.

•             Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

•             Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer Associate, are highly desirable.

•             Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, or CloudFormation.

•             Experience with container security, and Kubernetes.
