Job Summary:
Join our team in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is key. The Houseperson is responsible for cleaning assigned areas, assisting Room Attendants, delivering and replacing supplies, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, emptying trash, and dusting/wiping. This role also responds to guest calls and requests promptly, reports maintenance issues and potential hazards, and transports linen and trash as needed. Other duties may be assigned as required.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks within the assigned time.
- Friendly and outgoing attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Physically able to work on your feet for the entire shift, bend, push carts, and lift 20–35 lbs.
- Effective communication skills in conversational English; ability to work well with others.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and some holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Clean assigned areas and assist Room Attendants as needed.
- Deliver and replace supplies in guest rooms and work areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and wipe surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Respond promptly to guest calls and service requests.
- Report maintenance issues and potential hazards to management.
- Transport linen to laundry chutes/facilities and remove trash to designated receptacles.
- Perform other job-related duties as directed by management.
