Supply Chain Analyst-Inventory Control & Operations Focus
Location: West Haven, CT (On-site, 5 days)

Job Summary
We’re looking for a hands-on Supply Chain Analyst with a strong focus on inventory control and manufacturing operations to join our team. This role will take full ownership of inventory accuracy — from physical and cycle counts to investigating discrepancies and ensuring inventory levels align with production needs. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with a practical understanding of manufacturing, providing accurate financial insights and supporting operational efficiency across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
· Take full ownership of inventory accuracy, including performing and reconciling physical counts, cycle counts, and investigating any discrepancies.
· Monitor and raise concerns when inventory levels are too high or too low, ensuring optimal stock to support production while minimizing excess.
· Analyze and maintain inventory cost and valuation data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting and operational standards.
· Evaluate and report operational drivers of inventory discrepancies, variances, and write-offs, providing actionable insights for process improvement.
· Partner with finance to review cost variances and provide operational insights to support accuracy in standard costs.
· Prepare and analyze inventory and cost-related financial reports, ensuring accurate and timely valuation reporting.
· Support and improve inventory control processes, ERP data accuracy, and alignment of production and inventory reporting.
· Partner with Operations, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to strengthen inventory management practices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
· Conduct analysis on production costs, labor, materials, and overhead to support budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement.
· Track and report capital expenditures for operational leaders.
· Provide financial guidance and insights to plant management to support informed decision-making.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or Inventory Control within a manufacturing environment.
· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to dig into details and solve problems.
· Hands-on experience with inventory control and ERP systems in a production environment.
· Proficient in inventory software (Fishbowl, Netsuite, WMS, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience preferred.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to both finance and operations teams.
· Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
· Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred
