Patriot Machine is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Senior Financial and Tax Accountant to join our team. This role will be hands-on with our executive team, helping with decision-making and strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of financial reports
- Monitor and record financial transactions
- Help with the tracking and preparation of tax reporting matters
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Lead accounting projects, including 401(k) audits and internal reporting
- Enter and maintain accurate accounting data within accounting systems
- Continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and systems for efficiency and accuracy
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting required, Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Advanced Excel skills; comfort with data analysis and financial modeling
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
- Must be a U.S. Person
