Welder Fabricator
The welder fabricator position involves working with metal and other materials to create components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and experience with welding, with a commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials to create structural components
- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on various metals (basic to intermediate level)
- Operate tools and machinery including saws, grinders, and presses
- Inspect fabricated parts for accuracy and quality
- Maintain clean and safe workspaces
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment
- Basic welding skills (MIG and/or TIG preferred)
- Ability to read technical drawings and tape measures accurately
- Familiarity with hand tools and fabrication machinery
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus)
- Must be a US Person
- Welding certification (not required, but a plus)
- Experience working with steel, aluminum, or stainless materials preferred
- Basic familiarity with precision measuring equipment preferred
