What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineer/Tool Designer III position at Patriot Machine Inc?
Works with Manufacturing Engineering team to develop models of tooling/fixturing concepts used to machine aircraft parts.
Responsibilities:
- Performs CAD modeling functions to create accurate solid models of machined parts, assemblies, or fixtures
- Conceptualize manufacturing process options for CNC machining of complex structural aircraft parts
- Work with team to develop machining sequence plans and conceptual fixture designs for efficient machining of aluminum, titanium and stainless steel structural aircraft parts
Requirements:
- 2 to 4 years trade school, vocational education, work experience, or apprenticeship.
- Applicant must be a U.S. Person
- Experience with NX/Unigraphics and/or CATIA is a plus
- Aerospace and/or manufacturing experience is a plus
May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
