What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation Programmer position at Patriot Machine Inc?
Develop tools and applications to automate portions of the CNC programming and verification process used to produce 5-axis machined parts, which are machined on highly precise, technologically advanced equipment.
Requirements:
- Design custom interfaces and automation routines to increase the programming department’s efficiencies; automate complex and repetitive tasks and customize the NX interface in C# (or other language supported by UG NX Open)
- Responsible for the automation of all NC programs
- Experience with UG NX Open API toolkits
- Experience with Siemens NX (prev. Unigraphics), CAM and program verification (CGTech Vericut) software
- Manufacturing and/or programming experience preferred
- Understanding of GD&T preferred
- Knowledge of 5-axis machining, machine setup, and fixture design concepts preferred
- Education in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant manufacturing experience preferred
- Applicant must be a U.S. Person
May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
