This Job Isn't for Everyone.

We're looking for technicians who take pride in being productive - not mechanics trying to do as little as possible during an eight-hour shift.

You'll work independently from a fully equipped take-home service truck performing scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide variety of equipment.

Hourly Security. Performance Upside.

You have the security of hourly pay with the upside of performance pay.

If you produce more hours than you work, we pay you for what you produce.

Work 40 hours and produce 50 billable hours? You get paid for 50. Hours over 40 are paid at the applicable overtime rate.

Our established technicians earn over $100,000 per year.

Become More Than a Mechanic

Some shops limit technicians to one or two makes and keep them focused only on repairs. We don't.

You'll work on a wide variety of medium and heavy-duty equipment while developing skills many technicians never get exposure to - customer communication, service writing, scheduling, coordinating repairs, parts management, and managing your own workload.

Those skills create better technicians today and potential Lead Techs and Supervisors tomorrow.

We Train You to Succeed

Every new technician starts with a structured three-week onboarding program and a dedicated trainer.

Week 1: Software, processes, best practices, and the Patriot way.

Weeks 2-3: Hands-on field training focused on becoming an efficient, organized, successful Mobile Technician.

We don't just hand you the keys and hope you figure it out.

What You'll Do

· PM services and DOT inspections

· Electrical/electronic diagnostics

· Brake, air, cooling, starting and charging systems

· Engine, transmission, clutch, differential, steering, suspension and hydraulic repairs

· Diagnose and repair a wide variety of medium and heavy-duty equipment

· Manage your scheduled workload, parts and truck inventory

· Communicate with customers and our support team

· Accurately document inspections and repairs

The Setup

· Monday-Friday, 11 AM-7 PM

· No required weekends

· Scheduled work - not reactive roadside dispatch

· Take-home service truck; start and finish from home

· Routes generally kept within approximately one hour of home

· Ford Transit with Reading enclosed utility body

· Company laptop, cellphone, diagnostic equipment and shop equipment

What We're Looking For

· 3 years of medium/heavy-duty repair experience or equivalent training

· Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability

· Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving standards

· DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one

· Professional hand tools

· Ability to work independently, stay organized, and communicate professionally

· Strong work ethic and genuine desire to advance
