We are seeking a self-starter Talent Specialist with at least 3 years of experience to join our dynamic HR team. This role offers great exposure to all aspects of HR and operations and is an excellent opportunity for career growth within a thriving organization. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, and personable individual with an eye for detail, a willingness to learn, and a desire to be part of a growing and high performing team. In this role you will work directly with our CHRO, gaining mentorship and insight into strategic HR leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Lead college relations initiatives, including job fairs and campus engagement.
- Oversee and enhance our internship program.
- Operate full-cycle recruiting using platforms such as Handshake, Indeed, and LinkedIn.
- Coordinate onboarding and training programs for new hires.
- Collaborate on strategic alignment and execution of talent initiatives with leadership.
- Bring fresh ideas to improve recruiting, engagement, and development strategies.
Qualifications Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, marketing, communications, business, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in Full-cycle recruiting, ideally in technical, construction or engineering environments.
- Proficiency in Handshake, Indeed, and LinkedIn recruiting tools.
- College relations & campus recruiting: Experience organizing job fairs, building relationships with career centers, and managing internship programs.
- Onboarding & training coordination: Familiarity with creating smooth onboarding experiences and supporting early career development.
- Talent pipeline development: Proven ability to proactively source and maintain candidate pipelines for hard-to-fill roles.
- Comfortable with ATS systems and HR technology platforms. Paycom experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of social recruiting strategies and employer branding.
- Creative thinker: Brings fresh ideas for attracting and retaining talent.
- Alignment & execution mindset: Understands how recruiting strategies tie into business goals and can execute effectively.
- Project management: Ability to manage multiple initiatives (internship program, onboarding, recruiting campaigns) simultaneously.
- Relationship builder: Skilled at communication and partnering with hiring managers, colleges, and internal stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
