Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and friendly Customer Service Representative to join our team. The CSR is the first point of contact for clients and plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth customer journey from initial inquiry through project completion.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and messages in a prompt and professional manner
• Provide accurate information about our services, appointments, and programs (especially NYSERDA EmPower offerings)
• Follow up with clients post-service to ensure satisfaction and answer any additional questions
• Update client files, track progress, and document all interactions in the CRM
• Handle complaints or concerns with empathy and escalate complex issues to management when needed
• Maintain a calm, positive demeanor under pressure or with difficult clients
• Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and document preparation
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree a plus
• 1 year of customer service experience (in energy, construction, or home services is a plus)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable using phones, email, and web-based CRM systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required
• Must be dependable and punctual with a positive attitude
