Key Responsibilities:
- Support project managers in overseeing all phases of low-voltage and structured cabling projects from initiation to closeout.
- Assist in developing project schedules, budgets, and work plans to ensure alignment with client requirements and scope.
- Coordinate field technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely, high-quality installations.
- Conduct site walks, inspections, and progress tracking to maintain safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
- Serve as a secondary client contact, assisting with communication, documentation, and project updates.
- Maintain accurate project records, including drawings, as-builts, material logs, and reports.
- Support procurement of materials, equipment, and vendor coordination.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving project challenges promptly.
- Ensure compliance with BICSI, TIA/EIA, and NEC standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project processes and team development.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in telecommunications or low-voltage project coordination or management.
- Working knowledge of Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and fiber optic systems.
- Familiarity with BICSI, ANSI/TIA, and NEC standards.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with AutoCAD, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
- BICSI certification (RCDD, RTPM, or Installer/Technician) preferred but not required.
