What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Superintendent position at Patriot Construction?
Patriot is a local commercial construction company seeking a motivated and driven Superintendent. Project types include large scale municipal and private commercial remodels, builds, water tanks, etc., working with a highly qualified Project Manager in Utah.
Qualifications:
- 2 plus years experience preferred. Willing to train the right candidate on the job.
- Have reliable consistent transportation
- Own basic construction hand tools, power tools, and tool belt
Duties and skills include:
- Layout project per plans
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors
- Work with owners and architects
- Supervise and complete projects on time and under budget.
**Salary will be competitive within the industry and will be reflective of experience as well as ones personal effort.
Hours start at 40 hours per week with full time available based on skills, and job work load. Individual must demonstrate ability to manage details and multi task. Must demonstrate good attitude, be flexible to change, results driven, accountable and be open to results driven management and measurements. Compensation starts at $27/hour and up to $35/hour based on skills and experience.
Personality should be self-driven, problem solver, good at thinking on feet and staying on the job until the job is complete. Verbal and written communication skills and professionalism a must.
