Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee daily on-site operations for commercial construction projects. The Superintendent will coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, maintain schedules, help with estimating, and deliver projects on time and within budget. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure work is completed to quality standards
- Maintain project schedule; identify delays and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate inspections and maintain project documentation
- Interpret plans, specifications, and project documents; communicate changes as needed
- Monitor materials, equipment deliveries, and inventory
- Work closely with the Project Manager to track progress, budget, and change orders
- Resolve on-site issues quickly to avoid project delays
- Ensure jobsite cleanliness and compliance with company standards
Qualifications
- 4 years of construction experience, with at least 2 years in a superintendent or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with project management tools, scheduling software, and reporting
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to job site
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
