Paralegal

```Job Summary```

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in family law and personal injury.

```Duties```

Gather relevant information for cases

- Assist with drafting and proofreading legal documents, such as judicial coucil forms and pleadings

- Organize and maintain client files and documents

- Prepare correspondence and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings

- Manage document management systems and ensure accurate record keeping

```Qualifications```

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

-Paralegal certificate

- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures

- Proficiency in using Lexis Advance, Westlaw or similar legal research tools

- Excellent proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail

- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

- Previous experience working in a law firm or legal department is preferred

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
