MAJOR DUTIES:
The Assistant Coach is responsible for any responsibilities/expectations designated by the Head Softball coach. The coach must demonstrate strong leadership in player and staff development, sportsmanship, integrity, and character development. Qualified candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills. They must demonstrate exceptional knowledge of the skills and strategies of the softball program as it pertains to interscholastic athletics in Virginia.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have successful experience as a coach.
- Must be able to implement a training program.
- Must possess leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with administrators, parents and students.
