The County of Patrick is accepting applications from qualified applicants for the position of E&S/Stormwater Enforcement Officer & Plan Reviewer.
This is a full-time position with benefits exceeding $25,000 annually that include vacation and sick leave, life and health insurance, and retirement. Annual salary range is $50,000 - $55,000. Hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Evening, weekend, holiday, and flexible/irregular work schedules may be required.
This position performs work for the Patrick County Erosion & Sediment Control (ESC) and Stormwater Management (SWM) office, reviews site plans and conducts site inspections to determine adherence and enforce compliance to ESC and SWM Program regulations as established by state laws and county ordinances, and coordinates with the Patrick County Building Official and community development planners to ascertain conditions prior to issuance of building permits.
A high school diploma or GED is required. The successful candidate must complete required certifications as an Erosion and Sediment Control Administrator, Inspector and Plan Reviewer and Stormwater Management Administrator, Inspector, and Plan Reviewer within 1 year after being appointed as acting or permanent E&S/Stormwater Enforcement Officer & Plan Reviewer.
