Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Make-Ready Supervisor to oversee the preparation of homes for move-in. This role involves managing internal staff and contractors, coordinating schedules, and ensuring all homes meet strict quality inspection standards before being approved for occupancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead up to 4 internal make-ready team members
- Coordinate and manage make-ready contractors and vendors
- Walk vacant homes immediately after move-out to assess scope of work
- Submit quotes to management for review and approval prior to work commencement.
- Schedule and oversee all work required to prepare homes for move-in
- Continuously adjust schedules to meet changing timelines and priorities
- Perform multiple inspections throughout the make-ready process
- Conduct final walkthroughs with inspectors prior to move-in approval
- Ensure all homes meet company inspection standards
- Update and manage unit readiness in Yardi (experience preferred)
- Walk multiple homes daily—this is an active, on-your-feet role (averaging ~10 homes/week)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management, maintenance, or make-ready operations preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Basic maintenance knowledge (repairs, turns, inspections, etc.)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with Yardi is a plus, but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to walk and inspect multiple homes daily
