Job Description
Grand Rising Construction is hiring painters and drywall technicians for ongoing make-ready and repair work across multiple properties in the New Orleans area.
We are looking for dependable individuals who take pride in their work and can complete jobs efficiently without constant supervision.
This position involves residential make-ready work including painting, drywall repair, patching, and general touch-ups.
Responsibilities
- Interior painting (walls, ceilings, trim)
- Drywall repair (patching holes, tape, float, sand)
- Texture matching (preferred but not required)
- Prep work (masking, covering, light sanding)
- Job site cleanup after completion
Requirements
- Previous experience in painting and/or drywall
- Reliable transportation
- Must show up on time and be dependable
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- Basic tools preferred
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with make-ready or apartment turns
- Ability to complete jobs quickly and efficiently
- Own tools
