Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site RN Weekend Baylor position located in Sarasota, FL. The RN will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care for patients in their homes, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to care plans. Responsibilities include completing patient assessments, administering medications/treatments, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and deliver high-quality patient care. Additionally, the RN will maintain accurate documentation, educate patients and families about care plans and goals, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical nursing skills, including patient assessment, medication administration, and development of care plans
- Proficiency in communication and patient education, including the ability to educate patients and families about care plans, disease management, and treatment goals
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance, documentation practices, and regulatory standards
- Problem-solving, time management, and organizational abilities
- Current and unencumbered Florida RN license
- At least one year of clinical nursing experience; home health experience preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Reliable transportation for home visits
- Familiarity with chronic disease management is a plus
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
