Position Summary
The Marketing Director is responsible for leading the overall growth strategy of PRC. This includes developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives, managing referral and payer relationships, guiding a high-performing sales team, and ensuring compliance with regulatory marketing practices. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the home health landscape, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for connecting patients to the care they need.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily marketing operations and sales team performance
- Develop, implement, and manage marketing strategies to achieve growth goals
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, including anti-kickback regulations, patient solicitation rules, and truthful marketing standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, managed care organizations, government payers, and community stakeholders
- Conduct regular market assessments and maintain competitive intelligence
- Negotiate service contracts with insurance case managers, payers, and agencies within established parameters
- Develop marketing budgets and monitor performance against volume projections
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance management for the marketing team
- Represent PRC at industry events, professional meetings, and in the community to enhance visibility and reputation
- Monitor and report on the ROI of marketing activities and adjust tactics accordingly
- Collaborate with leadership to identify new service lines or partnership opportunities
- Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring a consistent and professional image across all outreach efforts
- Help patients and families connect to community resources when services fall outside of PRC's scope
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in healthcare marketing management, with home health experience strongly preferred
- Minimum of 1 year in a direct sales role
- Proven ability to lead and motivate marketing teams in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- Excellent communication, public speaking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Bilingual Spanish Preferred
- Deep understanding of third-party payers, referral source dynamics, and healthcare regulations
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable leader
